It’s not too often that families request sessions in the dead of an Indiana winter. What’s even crazier is that a chunk of this group is from California and they were STILL happy to document their visit despite the extra cold temperatures. That sounds like an AWESOME family to me! We knocked out this fun session in less than 30 minutes. After all, I didn’t want anyone to freeze!
Aren’t they a gorgeous family!?
The Henricksen clan are the Indiana dwellers. Totally used to cold temperatures! Even their adorable dog, Annie Rose, braved the chill!
I love their love! Any couple who has been married this long, have two teenagers, and can still look at each other like this gets a lot of respect from me. 🙂
The three amigos! Mary, Rich, and Kathryn are all siblings. Can’t you tell?? Strong genes!
You guys, I have had the privilege of meeting Sally (their sweet mom) a few times and she truly has a heart of gold!
What a glamorous group of ladies! So so pretty!
I don’t know of many teenagers who are not only willing to take pictures, but do so this sweetly! Also, I’m pretty sure Peter and Gracie completely skipped over their awkward teen phase. Mine lasted much longer than I’d like to admit. 😐
I knew this would be my favorite as soon I shot this group hug. <3
Rich and Katherine got Baby Jax got a brand new snow suit just for his trip to the mid-west. I’m not gonna lie, I was feeling pretty jealous of his warm getup by the end of the shoot!
Could they look more alike (spoken like Chandler Bing…we’re rewatching Friends right now 😉 )?!
This was a such a fun session to do! I grew up in a very close-knit family and have a soft spot for families who genuinely love being together. I think the cold was well worth these captured memories!
