Indianapolis Family Photographer | Hagan Family

I got so excited to hear from Jill earlier this year about doing another family session. I got even more excited when she told me about their newest arrival too! Handsome little Leo joined their clan this year and he is just the happiest little dude! We met up on probably the busiest Saturday for fall pictures. We spotted several different families and photographers but luckily no photo bombing occurred! 😉

This crazy cute kiddo is Leo! He couldn’t quite sit up solo for a long time yet so he had a little help from Mom.

This was Jill’s quilt from childhood. I love photographing heirlooms. It makes the image that much more priceless in my humble opinion.

I couldn’t get enough of his chubby cheeks!

Little miss Ellie is  so full of personality. She was so fun to play with last year and even more fun this year!

Leo was feeling pretty sleepy at this point, but he was still good for a few more smiles. 🙂

Hugo, their dog, made another appearance this year! And yes, my dog whisperer husband was here too. 😉

Big sister to the rescue!
Look Mom! I’m sitting by myself! …I’m convinced he was just showing off! 😉

I so wish you guys could hear Ellie’ssweet giggle. She has such a contagious belly laugh. It was music to my ears! 🙂

What a fun family!

Chris, Jill, Ellie, and Leo, thanks for letting me spend another evening photographing your awesome family. I loved being able to meet Leo. He is just too sweet! And Ellie is still just as adorable as ever! Hope to see you all again next year! 🙂

Indianapolis Family Photographer | Henderson

Earlier this year I started working with Lily & Sparrow Boutique in Fishers as their lookbook photographer. It has been such an enjoyable partnership and has given me a fantastic opportunity to meet some new people. This fall they hosted a mini session giveaway for me and here are the incredibly sweet winners, Mike and Liz.

I’m slightly obsessed with this location. The colors there are amazing!

Picture perfect couple award goes to…..these guys! Duh!

Liz asked me if I would mind if they included their dog in pictures and how could I refuse? Dogs are family too! Meet Sadie. She is just as lovable as she looks!

One of the last frames of the evening.

When Liz emailed me after getting the pictures she told me that this image “may be my very favorite picture of all time!” I can’t even begin to express how GOOD that makes me feel. It is probably one of the highest compliments I’ve gotten all year! 🙂

Liz told me that Sadie would be pretty hard to photograph…piece of cake! JK! 😉 I brought my secret weapon with me…Kevin is quite the dog whisperer, and he gets full credit for getting Sadie to look our way. He walked her around for most of the session and said afterwards she’s the strongest dog he’s ever met!

Snuggle break!

We had to get one of Sadie walking her people…wait! Strike that, now reverse! HA.

At this point, I had actually put my camera away and we were all heading back to our vehicles when I spotted this little window with that perfect light peeking through. So thrilled with the quick pictures we took here. Mike and Liz, you guys could not have been more fun to photograph! We laughed and talked the whole night. Liz has one of those personalities that makes you feel like you’ve known her forever. She kept asking me questions about myself the whole evening and at some points I got so caught up in talking I forgot to keep shooting! Like myself, Liz also left her full time job this spring to pursue her passions. You can read more about her journey at her adorable blog.

Indianapolis Family Photographer | Benak Family

I got to meet this family last month to snap some pictures for Drew’s 1st birthday. We had a great evening for pictures right around the fall color peak. I am a huge fan of fall in Indiana. It’s always perfect!

Well hey there Miss Drew! You are just too cute!

4 people looking plus two dogs?!? You can only imagine how goofy I acted while trying to catch this shot! 😉

Leah is one sweet big sister! She wasn’t overly thrilled to be getting pictures taken, but once she warmed up to me she rocked it out!

Drew chased and chased her doggies down until she finally caught up with at least one of them for a millisecond of snuggling! I don’t know who ran more, Drew or her doggies! 🙂

One is such a great age for flying in the air!

Erin told me that after the session Leah decided she was only getting pictures again if I took them. That’s a pretty high compliment! Thanks Leah!!

Drew, you make 1 look just so precious! 😉

I love everything about this picture!

Brian, Erin, Leah, and Drew, thanks so much for spending your evening running around a park with me. It was wonderful to get to know you all and capture such a fun milestone for Drew! Hope to see you all again next year!

Indianapolis Children’s Photographer | Lydia

It’s always a treat to see these munchkins. I’ve been taking pictures of these guys since Micah was in their mama’s belly. Lydia is just the perfect addition to their family and I am so excited to be able to document her first year! Here she is in Steph’s belly this past spring, and here she is just 5 days fresh! Some days, I really can’t believe how lucky I am to have this job. 🙂

Poor Lydia doesn’t seem too sure about letting her big brother hold her. 😉

If they made jackets like this in adult sizes I would have to buy one!

She’s rocking out her handmade bow and tutu!

Look at all that sweet chub! So squeezable!

I kept this one in the gallery because I loved the gentle way Micah was trying to play with her. Then Steph told me that he has had a fascination with ears ever since he was a baby and he always plays with her ears like this! Sometimes you just never know how special a picture can be for family memories. 🙂

Is it weird if I’m jealous of her curls?? My hair won’t curl a bit and Lydia’s only 3 months (it was September) and has more curls then I ever will!

Lydia’s grandma, Mamu, gave Stephanie a mother’s bracelet for each of the kids and then got one for Lydia too. And Lydia’s great Aunt Amy made her those little slippers! This is one LOVED baby girl!

Micah-man, you are way too big and handsome! Do me a favor and dial it back on the growing up, ok?

I had such a great evening catching up with these cute kiddos. And now that I’ve finally blogged Lydia’s 3 month pictures her 6 month pictures are just a month away!! I cannot wait to see how much she’s grown!

Amazing pics yet again. Love every single one of them.

as always you did a fabulous job!!! Thanks for the wonderful memories

Noblesville Senior Photographer | Allyssa

It’s no secret that I have a special fondness of doing senior sessions. My seniors are always so enthusiastic about getting their pictures taken and so involved in the planning. It’s a lot of fun to be able to work this age group since they have so much to be excited about. This is such a special season of life when everything is about to change and the future is wide open! Ok, enough yammering, time to introduce this lovely lady from Noblesville High School…meet Allyssa! She’s a total sweetheart and it was a blast being able to work with her. She had her own posse hanging out with us when her dad and sister decided to come along with her mom. It’s pretty fun having your own private audience! 😉

We kicked things off in downtown Noblesville for a touch of the city scapes.

Next we headed to my all time favorite location, the most perfect farm in Hamilton County. I swear every time I go, I find a new spot to use. I love it!

Allyssa killed it with her outfit selections! She had the perfect wardrobe for each location.

This image is probably at the top of my list from her session. My favorite outfit, my favorite spot on the farm, my favorite lighting. So many reasons, but number one is her smile. Perfect!

If you’ve followed my blog for a while you’ve probably already seen this old tire pop up a few times. It’s a MUST when I’m at the farm! 🙂

Not only is Allyssa gorgeous, but she’s also crazy talented! She interns with the worship team at our church and at her session she even sang a little bit while she strummed.  She’s the real deal!

Love her simple accessories! This beanie was the prefect addition!

Have you ever seen such blue eyes!?

I picked quite a few stand-outs from her session, but this one easily makes it in the top 3 for me. Allyssa, you’ve gotta try modeling!

Nailed it! Love how this pose turned out!!

Of course there’s a moody black and white…it wouldn’t be a proper Laura Lilly Photography blog post without one!

Sassy, but she’s just oh so sweet!
Allyssa, thanks for choosing me to help commemorate this special year for you. I loved getting to know you and your family! 🙂 I wish you all the best for the rest of high school and for your future!
