Indianapolis Family Photographer | Lanham Family

I got to meet the Lanham family back in September. They had never gotten family pictures. Talk about pressure! 😉 Actually, B.J.’s sweet personality made it easy to plan out their session. The littlest Lanham, Skylar, is just a doll and her big brothers completely adore her! I always love being able to meet new families and it’s a major bonus when they’re as awesome as the Lanham’s!

Check out those big blue eyes of Skylar’s!

I love the way Kingston is looking at his big brother in this one! So adorable! Brayden is seriously such a great big brother to both of his siblings.

Haha! I love Skylar’s side-eye in this one! She was laughing at her big brother’s attempts to make her smile. Great job, boys!

What a good looking trio of kiddos!

Kingston has a huge personality and was not camera shy at all!

😉 love this!

Brayden is quite the handsome guy!

While Skylar was taking a break, I snapped a few of Kyle and his boys.

Almost everyone was on board with our ‘get Skylar to smile’ game… 😉

These two are so cute!

Those eyelashes!!! Oh my goodness!

Had to get one with B.J. and her girl! Look at those chubby little thighs!! B.J. got this idea from Pinterest. Way too funny!

Ending things with my favorite of this cute and colorful family! Kyle and B.J., thanks for giving me the honor of capturing your first set of family pictures with the 5 of you! I would love to be able to work with you guys again whenever you want to update them! I had a great evening getting to know your family. Your kids are just all so fun!

Fishers Senior Photographer | Kelynn

I met this sweet senior over 10 years ago. We lived in the same neighborhood and I used to babysit her and her little brother. Fast forward to this past spring when her mom talked with me about doing Kelynn’s senior pictures. I can’t believe how fast time flies by…and how old that makes me feel! 😉 We had a gorgeous evening for pictures and had a blast going all around Hamilton County to capture some beautiful images of Kelynn.

We started out at Potter’s Bridge in Noblesville.

Talk about shoe envy! One of my favorite pictures of her!

Look at those eyes! So gorgeous!

Kelynn made all of the headbands she wore in her pictures. She is way too talented!

More shoe envy. Her shoe game was spot on! This was one of my favorite locations and it was a last minute discovery too. Love when that happens!

This one is her mom’s FAVORITE! I can’t disagree one bit. Kelynn, you are a stunner!

So adorable! The lighting this evening was absolutely perfection. I love Indiana in the fall!

Another favorite of mine! That smile is killer!

Black and white. I can never resist!

Bringing the SASS!

Here’s a small PSA to any girls who are planning on getting their senior pictures soon, wear layers! Especially jackets. They make the perfect accessory any time of year. 🙂

Kelynn, thanks for choosing me to capture your senior pictures! It was a blast to spend the evening with you and your mom and Tara. It’s hard to believe you’re getting ready to graduate from high school especially when I still remember you as such a little girl! Best wishes for the rest of your senior year!

Indianapolis Maternity Photographer | Fairchild

I don’t have enough good things to say about this session. Or the people in the pictures. Chase and Laura are good friends of ours so when they announced their pregnancy earlier this year, I knew I wanted to do their maternity pictures. They are crazy in love and it shows! Laura told me as soon as we started planning their session that she was willing to do anything I asked. I pitched the water idea and she was sold. I LOVE adventurous clients who are willing to do whatever it takes for a great picture. This is one of my favorite sessions from this year so get ready for a long blog post! 😉

See what I mean about them being crazy in love?

Laura, you are GORGEOUS. Drop. Dead. Gorgeous.

After some rescheduling conflicts, we totally lucked out with a decently warm evening for water pictures. Laura didn’t complain at all and that water was NOT warm!!

Love love love her!

After a quick change in a port-a-potty (see what I mean about adventurous?!) we headed to a different spot to finish out the evening.

That sunset was absolute PERFECTION.

Chase knows how to get the most genuine smiles out his bride. There are so many kiss-on-the-cheek pictures because every time I asked them to just talk and hang out, this is what Chase wound up doing. And every single time, that adorable smile showed up on Laura’s face.

HA.

Another favorite!

First time trying silhouette pictures. Definitely going to have to do this more often! Thank you, Indiana sky, for being so stunning during the fall.

We had to capture their personalities…Chase is a youth pastor and I’m betting he’s a pretty good one. Their students must love hanging out with them!

Laura and Chase, thanks for taking on a crazy night with me and Kevin. We had a blast traipsing around the woods and chasing the sunset with you guys! I can’t wait to meet Lila. I’m sure parenthood is going to look great on you two! 🙂

Indianapolis Children’s Photographer | Manha

I had the privilege of meeting this little firecracker just before she turned two. Manha is so full of personality! Her sweet smile lights up her whole face and her parents are just smitten by her. I can totally see why! Manha warmed right up to me and by the end of evening we were buddies. 🙂  She arrived to her session sleeping soundly and for being woken up and immediately thrown into getting her picture taken, she did such a great job! She was so cooperative and I loved watching her adventurous spirit while she explored the park.

Just look at those big brown eyes! Gorgeous!

I wasn’t kidding about her personality! She cracked me up all night!

Manha with her sweet parents.

SWOON! I’m so partial to dramatic black and white images and this is one of my favorite pictures I’ve taken all year. Manha you are just too pretty!

Manha has a fantastic collection of sunglasses and she loves to wear them. Her mom wanted to include the shades in pictures so they could capture Manha’s current favorite things.

She sure is loved!

Super stylish!

Another one of her current favorite activities is tennis. When her mom busted out the racket, Manha got so excited! Love this!

My favorite from the whole session!

Manha was getting a little squirmy at this point so we took an airplane scouting break.

Love this one too!

It was nearly completely dark at this point, but we couldn’t resist getting a few more in her girly pink dress as the sun was setting! I’m so glad we did. She sure knows how to rock a party dress! 😉

Manha, I hope you had a very happy birthday! Imran and Priveria, thank you so much for choosing me to capture these fun memories of your family! I can’t wait to see how much Manha has grown by next year’s session! 🙂

Indianapolis Children’s Photographer | Noelle

Last August, 2013, back when Noelle was still in her mama’s belly, I had the pleasure of meeting the sweet Yates clan. Fast forward to February and this cute little girl made her debut. I’m so glad that her parents wanted multiple sessions to commemorate Noelle’s first year. We just did her 6 month session and I am blown away at quickly 6 months have flown by! She went from a sleepy little newborn to a curious, bright eyed, sitting up, happy big girl!

Noelle could hardly contain her smiles when her fun mom, Laura, was playing with her. Also, check out her teeny little chompers! Too cute!

Going into sessions with multiple kids can sometimes be nerve wracking because you just never know what kind of mood the kids will be in. Laura got 2 outta 3 kids to take a nap and it showed! They were all so well behaved, cooperative, and happy. Always makes my job easier and we get better pictures out of it! I swear Noelle likes me…she just wasn’t too sure about the game I was playing with her brothers. 😉

Typical big brother with the goofy faces!

Little Miss Big Shot! Check out her glitter sandals. Girl stuff is too fun!

Gage is very two and very excitable. He wanted nothing to do with pictures and yet somehow magic happened and I caught quite a few genuine smiles from him!

Chris is a great hands-on Dad. He corralled the boys while Laura and I were hanging out with Noelle, but we had to make sure he got a few with his baby girl!

This kiddo LOVED the grass. She could have cared less about anything else going on as long as she could grab handfuls of grass. Love this of Colton. He’s such a well behaved big brother. He’s also all boy and loved climbing around and exploring.

We tried hiding the grass from Noelle so she couldn’t keep trying to grab it. 🙂

Then Laura scooped her up for some cuddles and Noelle just lit up. Total mama’s girl! This is my personal favorite from the whole session! Noelle’s precious smiles and Laura getting to love on her littlest. <3

When Chris and Noelle dashed back to the car, I grabbed a few quick shots of Laura and her boys. She is seriously such a great mom! Her kids clearly adore her!

So many adorable expressions! I can’t wait to catch up with the Yates again in February for Noelle’s first birthday! Thanks to Chris and Laura for being so flexible with our start time. We scheduled this session back in July and of course, in typical Indiana fashion, the chance of rain popped up. We moved up the time and finished as the thunder rolled in. About 15 minutes after we left, it was POURING. I call that a win! See you all again in February!
