Indianapolis Children’s Photographer | Ava

Earlier this year when Sara contacted me about Ava’s 3 year pictures, I got pretty excited! I got to meet the Richey family last year and just adored them. They are so sweet and down to earth. Ava is seriously one of the most well behaved 3 year olds I have ever gotten to work with! She is sweet natured and her personality seriously shines through in all of her pictures!

Kicking things off with one of my favorites.

Ava clearly loves her parents! I am digging all the color in this picture, btw. Love the bright outfits with the awesome orange wall!

Major concentration going on here.

Enjoying the fruits of her labor. Ava trying to pick these flowers was just way too cute. Sorry for the lack of low reaching flowers for any else who may have stumbled upon this spot! 😉 She wiped them clean!

Ava loved running around Fishers. We shot early morning when it was nice and quite. She had the whole place to herself!

Happiest 3 year old ever!

If you’ve read any of my other blog posts then you know that I am a total sucker for B&Ws. This image is another one of my favorites. I feel like she’ll still be making this face when she’s a teenager. Her parents love it so much that they even ordered it in a canvas. <3

She just hopped on up and started crossing her arms like a pro! If any of you are wondering where her picture perfect dress came from, Sara said she found it at the Farmer’s Market in Broad Ripple. And yes, those are little itty bitty kid sized Sperry’s.

Another one of my favorites of this awesome family!

Those big eyes!

See what I mean about tons of personality?? This may not be the most 100% by-the-rules kind of shot, but it sure does capture the heart of a 3 year old. And I happen to think that’s the part that matters. Mitch, Sara, and Ava, thanks a million for contacting me again this year! It is such a pleasure to spend time with you all and I hope to see you again next year! 🙂

These are simply betuaiful! You captured each one of their personalities. Love the setting, the lighting everything! Even though i’m somewhat biased my handsome son, gorgeous daugher-inlaw (but really the daughter i didn’t have) and last but not least that stunning granddaughter are pretty great models.

I love these…especially the black and whites!! 🙂

Indianapolis Senior Photographer | High School Models

This is one of my favorite sessions of the summer. I roped two high schoolers from our church into modeling for me so I could work with my new hair and makeup artist. We picked out outfits, accessories, hairstyles, etc… it was definitely an all out girl’s day! Good thing these two are not camera shy. They were both total naturals and the camera LOVED them. I would be thrilled to have them in front my lens again! These girls are both such a joy to be around and we all had a great evening hanging out and exploring Zionsville. I have been so excited to share these images here. Take a peek and enjoy!

We started out in downtown Zionsville. It’s now one of my favorite places to shoot!

We clearly didn’t have any fun. 😉

What you can’t see is exactly how high up she climbed to stand on this…in 4 inch wedges! You go girl! This awesome floral headband is from in Fishers.

Those eyes!

Love love love these sweet girls and their friendship. Pictures are always more fun with a friend along for the ride!

Drop.Dead.Gorgeous. She brought her modeling A-Game! My favorite of Jenna.

She has such a heart of gold! Can you believe she’s not even 16 yet??

My favorite shot of her! So beautiful! At the last minute we had a dress swap and this one could not have been more perfect on her. Love when things fall together like that!

Love that sweet smile of hers!

Decided to head to this location at the last minute and so glad we did! Their boho-chic outfits worked perfectly here!
Thanks so much to these girls and their parents for letting me borrow them for a day of pictures! HUGE thanks goes to my hair and makeup stylist, Laura Fairchild. She is such a rockstar and the girls adored her! She is so fun to have at sessions. Please don’t hesitate to ask about her pricing. She loves her job as much as I do and will do a great job!

Indianapolis Boutique Photographer | Lily & Sparrow Boutique

Earlier this spring I was doing some blog hopping and came across the newest women’s boutique in Fishers. Lily & Sparrow is hands down the go-to boutique for fashion forward styles and the sweetest owners (they’re sisters!!) you could ever meet. I approached them about working together and nearly died of excitement when they decided to go with me over the other photographers who had also reached out to them. After a few weeks of planning we scheduled our first shoot for their fall lookbook. We voted for an ‘Indiana in the fall’ feel and luckily I knew of the most perfect location. What’s more fitting than a real Indiana farm in the fall, right? Even though technically these pictures were taken in August. 😉

Let’s kick things off with the always stunning, Carly. She owns the hair salon, MakeFresh, that the boutique is attached to. She is also responsible for all the fabulous hair styles you’re about to see!

Twilight called.* They want to change their original cover to this. *in my dreams.

Maggie, seriously, save some gorgeous for the rest of us!

Oh hey there Allison. Lookin fierce!

You guys, Carly is a mom. Of TWO kids. I can only hope to look this perfect when I have kids!

We joked that this is their girl group album cover. Love all these outfits together!

The girls dragged out the door prop from their store. I’m thinking I may need to start borrowing it for shoots! It’s so fun!

Little bit rock ‘n roll. My favorite of Maggie.

My favorite grouping of outfits. Love all of these!

Love this of Carly. Hello sunlight. Thanks for showing up!

Vegan leather jacket, you guys. So perfect for fall!

Girl next door. So pretty. My fav of Allison.

When some teaser images were released everyone went wild over this maxi. It’s even prettier in person!

I LOVE every single detail of this outfit!

Fall floral jumpsuit. Way cool!

Model faces…

…which never lasted too long with these fun ladies! Jen and Steph, I have been having a blast working with and getting to know you ladies over the past few months. Thank you for trusting me with your ‘baby’. I am so ready for the holiday shoot we have planned! And for those of you who haven’t had a chance to head over to the boutique, make time! It’ll be so worth your while!

Indianapolis Maternity Photographer | Cousins

I have been so ready to share these images for few weeks! Laura (my amazing hair stylist and makeup artist) and her cousin, Nicole, grew up on the same street together. Talk about instant made best friends. Cousins and neighbors? Color me jealous! My nearest cousins were at the very least 3 hours away. These two mama’s-to-be had a joint baby shower and wanted to have pictures to surprise their mom’s. Evidently, it was a big hit and tears were shed! Go Team Surprise! Love that!

This is my favorite from their quick session. It had just rained a little beforehand and we were all nervous we’d have to postpone. Luckily the rain stopped and we were good to go. Only downfall, it was so humid and sticky out! They weren’t phased by it at all and still managed to look gorgeous in every shot!

They brought their husbands for a few quick shots of the 4 of them. These guys are such a hoot! They were great at keeping the girls smiling!Laura and Chase’s official maternity session is coming up soon and I *cannot* wait to work with them again! Last fall they rocked out their session and I am so excited to help capture this new phase of life for them!Laura and Nicole did some Pinterest searching for ‘friend’ maternity shots…this one tugged on their heartstrings (see what I did there? HeartSTRINGS? Ha.) since their kiddos will be second cousins and hopefully best friends too. Their due dates are within a week of each other!  Aren’t they so cute together? Nicole and Justin are having TWINS! A boy and a girl!! She looks so great! And we had to end with some belly comparison pictures, of course! 😉 Laura, thanks for asking me to help you guys out with the surprise! I am so excited for your maternity session!

Indianapolis Children’s Photographer | Izzy

I am so partial to this cutie it’s not even funny. I have taken her pictures yearly since her newborn pictures and I cannot even begin to thank her mama, Heather, enough for always coming back to me. Izzy may look teeny tiny, and she is, but her personality is HUGE. She is so funny and I always look forward to her antics. This kid is a HOOT!

Here’s a collage I put together showing just how much she’s grown (along with me as a photographer!) over the past 3 years. Crazy! We’ve done every single one of her sessions at the Ambassador House. It’s a fun tradition and neat to see how the house never changes, but Izzy always does.

Ready for some cuteness overload? Just a general PSA: I didn’t touch her eyes. They really are THAT blue!

She is such a happy girl!

Favorite status! Love this one!

Hi Izzy!!!

Ok wait, THIS is my favorite! Don’t let that adorable grin fool you… This girl is MISCHIEVOUS and I’m pretty sure this is the face she uses to get out of trouble! 😉

So I’m thinking I have too many favorites. Let’s just say this is one of my favorite sessions from this summer! Can you believe a THREE year old sat and posed like this long enough for a picture?? I literally told Heather that we could be done right then and there. Money shot!

Lashes for days!! Heather, good luck when she’s older… I’m guessing Izzy will work those lashes on all the boys! 😉

I honestly cannot believe how big she is! Blows my mind!

Of course, for every perfectly posed picture, there are at least 5 like this. 3 year olds…what are you going to do?

Happy birthday Little Miss Thang!

Heather and Izzy, when I heard from you about this session I could hardly believe it was that time of year again. I am so thankful to you for sticking with me for all these years! I have loved every session with sweet Izzy and genuinely hope to see her next year!
